Basics of Organic Seed Production (free online course)
Welcome to this online tutorial on the basics of organic seed production.
Topics covered: This course will cover the fundamentals of seed production for onions, beets and chard, brassicas, carrots, and wet-seeded crops. It will also cover climatic requirements for seed crops, important diseases, and seed quality.
Prerequisites: This course is designed for individuals with a basic knowledge of seed saving and organic production. Those seeking basic seed saving information may wish to read Organic Seed Alliance's Seed Saving Guide for Farmers and Gardeners (available here).
Format: This course is divided into a series of modules, each covering one main topic. Each module has a link to a "book" page, followed by additional resources.
